2019 Shortlist Announced

Our fantastic shortlist was announced at SLANI's training day on Reading for Pleasure, held at QUB Students' Union.

2018 Winner Announced

​

The winner of the 2018 Northern Ireland Book Awards, as voted for by pupils across Northern Ireland, was announced at a finale event held at Campbell College. Pupils were treated to an author talk from debut author Kelly McCaughrain, as well as a number of fun competitions and quizzes, before discovering that The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas had been voted the winning title.
